The frigid wind that whistled through China Basin on Thursday night gave AT&T Park a bit of an October feel. The first Giants-Rockies game of the season did, too, at least until the seagulls overtook fans in attendance.

A day after Brandon Belt took a called third strike to end a loss to the Reds, and insinuated umpire Doug Eddings just wanted to shower and leave, Brandon Crawford was ejected after taking a full-count third strike to open the 12th inning after Carlos Gonzalez’s two-run, bases-loaded single off Cory Gearrin gave the Rockies their two-run lead. …continue reading here…
