SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Chris Heston’s fall from a 2015 no-hitter to near-obscurity is a story of lost confidence and “complacency” – his word. Heston is trying to make a comeback with the Giants and has a strong ally and shoulder to lean on in another guy who knows about climbing back from the depths.
“Vogy always took care of me with the Giants,” Heston said before Tuesday’s game against the Diamondbacks. “He’s been a great buddy. He reached out to me last year. He’s another guy in your corner and one of my best friends in the game.”
